Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Jun 2016

Medium garnet in color, the 2014 Grenache Shiraz Mataro has a pleasant earthy / meaty character over the core of dried mulberries, kirsch and spice box plus a waft of potpourri. Full-bodied in the mouth, it offers seductive spice cake and berry preserves flavors with velvety tannins and just enough lift from the freshness, finishing with great persistence.
