2013 Chateau de Selle

(50% grenache, 30% cinsault, 15% syrah and 5% cabernet sauvignon): Bright salmon-skin color. Spice- and herb-accented aromas of cherry, black raspberry and lavender are complemented by a subtle hint of smokiness. Shows strong mineral and floral character on the palate, with red berry and citrus fruit flavors firming up with air. Closes spicy and very long, with lingering floral pastille and orange zest qualities and a touch of anise.
