Tasting notes
The 2016 Meursault Clos des Grands Charrons is nicely done. White and green orchard fruit, flowers, mint and white pepper give the 2016 a very pretty, bright upper register to play off its mid-weight personality. Now, with a few years in bottle, the 2016 offers lovely aromatic and flavor complexity, making it a terrific choice for near and medium-term drinking.

Classic spiced orchard fruits, brioche, toasted bread, and white flower notes all emerge from the 2016 Meursault Le Clos Des Grands Charrons (Monopole). It's a richer, textured, layered Meursault that has good acidity, terrific balance, and a great finish. This is another incredibly impressive white from this estate that will keep for 10-15 years.
