The 2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes is a forward, juicy effort that's loaded with notions of sweet red fruits, Asian spices, and sappy herbs. Medium-bodied, with no hard edges, moderate acidity, and a juicy finish, it's one delicious mouthful of a Pinot Noir.

Organic. Cask sample. Lightish cherry red. Pretty, floral, gently herbal and very inviting. Spicy on the tongue, lightish but really well modulated. (JH)

Bright medium red. Lovely perfumed lift to the aromas and flavors of red fruits and spices. On the lean side, but this juicy, savory wine offers complex soil tones and good length. I like this.
