Tasting notes
Full ruby. Smoke-accented blackberry and cherry preserve aromas show excellent clarity and pick up hints of licorice and candied flowers with air. Lush and open-knit, offering gently sweet red and dark berry and spicecake flavors and a hint of smoky minerality. The smoky quality comes back strong on the persistent, floral-accented finish, which is given shape by fine-grained tannins.

The 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Prestige offers a bigger, sweeter, and richer core of fruit to go with medium to full-bodied depth and concentration on the palate. Peppery, Provençal and garrigue-laced, this beautiful 2013 has terrific tannin quality and a great finish. It can be enjoyed anytime over the coming decade.
Opaque ruby. Aromas of dark berries, cherry pit and candied licorice, with a suave floral overtone. Plush, spice-laced blackcurrant and bitter cherry flavors become more energetic with air, displaying a suave blend of power and vivacity. White pepper and smoky mineral qualities add cut to the finish, which lingers with appealing sweetness and building tannins.
