Score 88/100 · Drink 2023-2025, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Apr 2024

In a screw-capped bottle, the Franz Haas 2022 Pinot Grigio is a classic expression of the grape, but instead of the dried grass aromas that you normally get, this vintage delivers richer tones of orange essence and orchard fruit. This partially oak-aged wine remains tight and linear, but there is a detour toward yellow fruits and sweetness on the close. Annual production is between 40,000 and 45,000 bottles.
