2005 Newton Forrest Cornerstone

This is very sweet on the nose with touches of damson, violets and black cherries. Hint of sloes coming through with aeration. The palate is ripe on the entry, dense, lacks a little finesse and there is a reductive note on the finish. Hard-going at the moment, but I think this will improve with age. Drink 2011-2017. No known American importer.
