Gorgeous notes of blue fruits, black cherries, violets, spice, and crushed stone all emerge from the 2022 Saint Joseph Les Pierres Seches. Medium-bodied, with a pure, elegant mouthfeel and fine tannins, this is a very pretty, pure, and balanced Saint Joseph that will deliver the goods for a decade. Drink 2025-2035.

After the underperforming 2021 I tasted last year, the 2022 Saint-Joseph Les Pierres Sèches is a clear step up. Leafy accents mingle with fleshy touches, black cherry, licorice and violet tinges. Medium-bodied and refreshing, the inviting 2022 ends with a slice of grapefruit on the citric finish.
