Tasting notes
Deep, shimmering red. Spice-accented raspberry and cherry aromas, along with building floral and spice qualities. Seamless and appealingly sweet, offering juicy red/blue fruit preserve flavors and a hint of succulent herbs. Finishes smooth and quite long, with discreet, rounded tannins and lingering spice, cherry and floral notes. (fermented and aged in concrete and stainless steel tanks)

Made from 55% and 45% Syrah, the 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Plan De Dieu is a powerful yet also fresh wine that has lots of black and blue fruits as well as notes of ground pepper, violets, and some meatiness. Medium to full-bodied, it shows the elegant side of the vintage as well as the richer, powerful style of this sector in the Southern Rhône Valley. This Northern Rhône based estate makes a bevy of terrific negociant wines from the Southern Rhône. In most cases they represent terrific values.
