Aromas of flowers, white peach, toasted nuts and citrus zest introduce the 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Aubues, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and pure wine that's taut but suave, with racy acids and good structure. This parcel delivered normal yields despite the frost and remains very classic in profile.

The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Aubues has a strict, granitic, almost sultry bouquet that is well-defined but just needs a little more intensity. The palate is crisp on the entry with good extract, but what is missing is some persistence on the finish that just trails away compared to other cuvées.
