Score 86/100 · Drink 2024-2030, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from Les Grands Champs with no racking after the malolactic and sees no fining or filtration. It has a delicate nose with slightly muffled tropical tones that clarify with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a lemongrass on the entry, fine weight with quite a phenolic, spicy finish. Fine.

About the producer

Domaine Duroche
Domaine Duroché has, under Pierre Duroché, become one of the most sought-out and respected wine domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are delicate and detailed, yet with old-vine intensity, a clear sense of place and style – and it’s easy to see why they’ve rapidly become so in-demand.
