Tasting notes
The 2019 Moulin-Rouge continues to show very well, delivering a generous bouquet of dark berries, plums, sweet soil tones and pencil shavings, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless palate that's concentrated and vibrant, with melting tannins and a precise finish.

The 2019 Château du Moulin Rouge has an opulent, well-defined, pure bouquet of blackberry, raspberry coulis and light violet aromas. The lightly spiced palate is medium-bodied with sappy blackberry and raspberry fruit, fine tannins and a pretty, silky-smooth finish. This has definitely improved from its barrel showing, hence my more generous score.
Aromas of mulberries, cherries, chocolate and sweet spices. Medium-bodied with chalky tannins. Creamy, compact and smoky with a spicy finish. Merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. Drink or hold.
