Tasting notes
Fanti's 2008 Brunello di Montalcino is soft, forward and one-dimensional. An approachable, super-ripe wine, the 2008 is best enjoyed over the next few years, before the forward fruit begins to fade.

Concentrated, deep ruby with orange rim. A little peppery and closed on the nose, but more supple on the palate. Soft, round fruit and quite rustic tannins. Good length but not really for the long haul. (WS)
