Not quite up to the precision of the Perrières 2010 enjoyed the previous evening; the softer, plumped vintage in evidence. Reasonably rich and creamy but could do with a little more definition. (JR)

(from vines planted in 1991 and 1980) Musky aromas of citrus peel and white flowers. Juicy and energetic, with the musky, leesy quality carrying through in the mouth. Finishes minerally and long. Dancer picks this very warm, protected site first to avoid getting exotic qualities. He told me that he harvested these vines later in 2005, and that this robbed the wine of much of its minerality. I like this.
