Score 86-87/100 · Drink 1998-2010, Robert Parker, Feb 1998
The 1996 performed admirably in what is a mixed Fronsac vintage. Deep ruby-colored, with plenty of sweet blackberry and cherry fruit in both its aromatics and flavors, this medium-bodied wine reveals pain grille notes, moderate tannin, and 5-12 years of aging potential. It is quite well-made.
