Score 87/100 · Drink 1990-1995, Robert Parker, Jan 1990

This is a very successful wine. However, don't expect a classically proportioned burgundy. Deep in color, very full bodied, jammy, and quite oaky, this is a super-concentrated, surprisingly large-scaled 1986 that should be at its best between 1990 and 1995.
