Tasting notes
Burgundy seduction: that combination of sweet and tangy red fruit with a light floral quality and subtle spice. All the ducks lined up. On the palate, that same lovely combination of freshness and succulence. Delicious wine and just ready to approach. Sinewy rather than full-bodied but long. (JH)

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has lovely brambly red fruit on the nose, which is nicely defined with attractive sous-bois character. The medium-bodied palate offers sappy red fruit, a fine bead of acidity and a touch of soy toward the finish. Fine.
Bursting with aromas of rose petals and sweet red berry fruit, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is medium-bodied, velvety and succulent, with an open-knit, flavorful profile. It's adapted to near-term consumption but will provide a lot of pleasure.
