Tasting notes
Reduced use of new oak at the domaine since Adrien came back from his travels (NZ, Australia, California and South Africa) in 2017, fully in charge of winemaking since this 2022 vintage. Cask sample. Subtle oaky note – more creamy/mealy than oaky. This has really lovely ripe citrus. It's a generous, rounded and still fresh village wine with the creamy, leesy yet subtle oak giving excellent balance to the fresh fruit. (JH)

Aromas of pear, yellow orchard fruit and freshly baked bread introduce the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Village, a medium-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that's giving and generous.
Cool, crisp, quite a delicate, racy and refined Chassagne. Plenty of savoury notes here. Good freshness. Not the most concentrated but will be a good early drinker. (AWH)
