Good deep red. Sensational if youthfully subdued nose combines black raspberry, crushed stone, dried flowers, smoky minerality and truffley soil tones. Wonderfully precite and tout in the mouth, with uncanny cut and energy to the dark berry, spice and mineral flavors, Finishes with outstanding backbone and palate-staining perfume. The 2008 vintage doesn't get better than this

This is also restrained to the point of only reluctantly allowing glimpses of its black berry, cassis, floral and minerally aromas that are profusely laced with a panoply of spice elements. The gorgeously intense, vibrant and palate staining broad-based flavors brim with extract that renders the ultra sophisticated tannins almost invisible on the hugely persistent finish. This is a 'wow' wine that will live for decades. Drink 2030+
