Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2018-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Dec 2008

Northernmost area of Billes Noires and a particularly distinctive barrel – sold only in (250) magnums. Gore is a local name for granite.   Very deep crimson. Very dense and dry and natural. But extremely youthful. Very sucky stony. Leave for ages! But much more supple than most Cornas. (JR)
