Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2023-2032, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village includes two Premier Crus this year, Les Gruenchers and Les Baudes. It has a light but pretty nose that is rather floral in style, cohesive though never intense. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins and peppery (though there are no stems here) with a gentle grip on the finish. Just needs a little more substance, yet is nicely crafted with the materials offered.
