Tasting notes
The Chalumaux vines are the domaine’s oldest, planted in 1954 lending further intensity to the vineyard’s wines that are a typically big and bold style of Puligny-Montrachet. The nose is enticing here, with honeyed notes dancing alongside white blossom and a bite of lemon pith. There’s an instant rush of fleshy fruit on the palate – making for a wine that is open and up front, supple and round.

Outstanding - An exuberantly floral nose speaks of a range of spice elements, citrus confit and just sliced fennel. The exceptionally fine middle weight flavors possess an almost lilting mouthfeel while exuding a more subtle bead of minerality on the seductive, sappy and beautifully well-balanced finale. Chalumeaux isn't always this refined but to its credit, this is a wine of finesse and grace. Drink 2030+
