Blueberry, cranberry, black cherry. Firm tannins that are broken by zingy acidity. Chewy texture and intense fruit. Still inscrutable at this age, full of punch and power. (RH)

Mid shaded crimson. Darker than many an Oz Pinot with quite an intense nose. Real savour and structure. Bone-dry finish. There's lot's here to enjoy over a longer period than most Oz Pinots offer, and there is real grip on the end, well balanced with the fruit. (JR)
The 2023 Pinot Noir is the third in a run of La Niña vintages, and the wine is darker in the glass than the preceding years. It is spicy, supple and silky, and the fruit has great intensity. This vintage shows its whole bunches, but they are counterbalanced by so much fruit that it works so well through the finish. This is perfumed and structured and saturated in flavor. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
