Score 87/100 · Drink 2020-2025, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, May 2025
The 2018 Touriga Nacional feels very ripe and anonymous, with dark-berry fruit and some herbs, a juicy, glossy and round palate with ripe tannins, 14.1% alcohol and no varietal character, possibly erased by the excess ripeness, extraction and oaking. It feels a lot riper than indicated by the alcohol level. Drink up. 2,333 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2020.
