Tasting notes
The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of blackberry, wild strawberry and iodine scents that show much more expression than other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and ripe, with supple tannins, well-integrated oak and a long, spicy, quite exotic but charming finish.

Here the nose is firmly reduced though the underlying fruit does seem ripe. There is fine punch, mid-palate density and delineation to the medium weight flavors that offer good richness as well as fine length on the moderately firm, dusty and lingering finish that is only mildly rustic. 88-90
