Tasting notes
Medium red. Fruit-driven aromas of raspberry, strawberry, cherry and spices. Sweet, spicy and sappy, with red fruit flavors framed by lively acidity. Tangy and vibrant in a way that the 2003 vintage can't match. Finishes with firm but ripe tannins and the structure to develop in bottle for six to eight years. Numerous parcels go into this village wine.

Violets and black cherries are found in the aromatics of the bright, medium to dark ruby-colored 2002 Chambolle-Musigny. This medium-bodied wine offers a deep character packed with sweet, silky black cherry flavors. Harmonious, lively, and pure, it exhibits a long, seamless, floral finish. Drink it over the next 6-7 years. Importer: Neal Rosenthal Wine Merchant, New York, NY; tel. (800) 910-1990
Good bright red. Sappy, musky, slightly reduced aromas of raspberry, minerals and sweet oak. Firm and juicy, with nicely delineated red berry flavors and sound supporting acidity. Finishes firmly tannic, with good grip.
