Cask sample. A bit more excitement and energy than the Bas de Chapelot but not thrilling and a bit severe. (JR)

The 2021 Chablis Boucheran has an expressive nose, well-defined with apple blossom and just a slightly oily note that lends complexity. The palate is well balanced with good weight, not overly complex but there is plenty of density on the finish that is very Chablis in style. This is well worth hunting down.

Notes of green apple, white flowers, fresh bread and mint preface the 2021 Chablis Boucheron, a medium-bodied, bright and precise wine that's fine-boned and flavorful, betraying no signs of the vintage's challenges.
