Drink 0-0, Neal Martin, Sep 2022

The 2020 Chablis Fourchaume 1er Cru feels musty on the nose and lacks freshness on the palate. Not sure how representative this sample bottle is. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.

Stony, dusty, lime-fruited. Lean, taut, very fresh. Just a slight creaminess in the texture to balance the high acidity. Long even though it is on the lean side. (JH)
