Score 88/100 · Drink 2004-2024, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jul 2020
A creditable effort in a challenging vintage, Rousseau's 1994 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru offers up a delicate bouquet of orange rind, dried red fruits, sweet soil tones and cedar. Medium-bodied, ample and elegantly fleshy, with melting tannins and a charming core of fruit, it's drinking at its peak today, and now is the time to be opening bottles.
