Score 95/100 · Drink 2019-2027, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Feb 2019

Gantenbein's 2007 Pinot Noir is beautifully intense and fruity on the crystalline and refined nose where potted and cooked wild strawberries are displayed. This is a perfectly matured Pinot, and I can hardly resist swallowing my tasting pour. This is a beautifully refined and balanced, silky-textured and crystalline Pinot with great intensity, very fine tannins and a very long and growing finish. Folks, this is a beauty: ripe, elegant and refined but also dramatic and firm. A great wine indeed. Tasted November 2018.
