Blackish crimson. Quite fine. Gentle and easy. Relatively dry. Quite powerful. Dry tannins intrude only at the end. (JR)

Minerals, earth, cherry jam, spice, and smoke are present in this wine's moderately intense aromatics. It possesses excellent concentration, medium body, a sinewy mid-palate, and plenty of size, depth, and moderate tannin in the finish. While it is fully mature, there remains a youthful vibrancy to its fruit and personality. Consume it over the next 6-10 years.

Saturated deep red. Weedy aromas of menthol and apple. Green and sour on the palate. Not dilute and not old, just nasty.
