Tasting notes
The 2022 Côtes Du Rhône comes from vines bordering Côte Rote and was brought up in very old, larger barrels. It's a bigger wine than the IGP Syrah and has darker berry fruits, some meaty, peppery, herbal notes, medium body, ripe tannins, and a good finish. It's another classic effort here that readers will love to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

Lovely nose that has some honeyed notes and a touch of green orchard fruit. The palate is fresh and quite lean with a crystalline feel. Really quite a tight and light style. Some good fruit here and with lime and pear notes on the fresh, layered finish. (AC)
