Score 92/100 · Drink 2022-2030, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, Oct 2021

Planted in 2001, this two-hectare site sits at the end of the Chinon côteaux on clay-flint. The 2018 Chinon L'Huisserie spent two years aging in both 500-liter barrel and concrete before being bottled. As a result, it is showing a delightfully round, mellow texture and an abundance of resolved tannins. Fine floral and red cherry fruit leaves an attractive scent on the refreshing finish.
