The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru les Perrières has a slight reduction on the nose, fine definition and minerality coming through with aeration, though it needs more encouragement than the 2014 Les Combes. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, with touches of white peach and citrus peel; there is very good weight on the mid-palate, though I would like to see more nervous energy develop on the finish. Still, this is very fine.
