Tasting notes
The 1990 Chianti Classico Riserva-Marchese Antinori is a classic, textbook Chianti, displaying a healthy garnet color, a big, spicy, cedary, tobacco, and berry-scented nose, full body, excellent concentration, and moderate tannin in the finish. It should drink well for 10-12 years. This is an excellent wine that remains a reference point for Tuscany. Kudos to Piero Antinori. Importer: Remy Amerique, New York, NY; tel. (212) 399-0200.
