Score 89/100 · Drink 2023-2033, Neal Martin, Mar 2023

The 1975 Sigalas Rabaud has a light, one-dimensional nose with orange cordial and mandarin scents. Perhaps I would have expected a little more, given that this is a great Sauternes vintage. The palate is actually fresh on the entry with a silver bead of acidity. It's not complex, but there are vestiges of tangy marmalade and grilled walnut on the finish. Drink now. Tasted at the Sigalas Rabaud vertical at the winery.
