Glistening ruby-red. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes red and blue fruits, potpourri and exotic spices, along with a vibrant mineral overtone. Impressively concentrated yet lively in character, offering mineral-accented Chambord, boysenberry, floral pastille and spicecake flavors that show fine detail and back-end cut. Finishes with polished, steadily building tannins, a hint of allspice and strong, floral- and mineral-driven persistence.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Pinot Noir Amity Hills—Stonecreek opens to tar, tilled earth, crushed blackberries, blood orange, dried leaves and tree bark with nuances of red berries and bitters. The palate is medium-bodied and layered with a firm, grainy frame and well-woven freshness, finishing long. 148 cases were made.
