Tasting notes
Bright lemon, mandarin orange, and honeyed lime are just some of the nuances in the 2019 Château Lespault-Martillac Blanc, a bright, pure, medium-bodied white that does everything right. It's not the most concentrated and biggest wine out there, but the balance is spot on, it has this terrific sense of minerality, and a great finish. I'm a huge fan.

Owned by the Bernard family of Domaine de Chevalier, the 2019 Lespault-Martillac Blanc exhibits aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus zest and pastry cream, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and lively palate, concluding with a saline finish.
The 2019 Lespault-Martillac Blanc has a refined bouquet that still needs a little more penetration. The palate is well balanced with lovely sour lemon and malic notes, and more energy toward the finish. I am still looking for more on the nose, and maybe that will develop in time. I hope so.
The 2019 Lespault-Martillac Blanc is gorgeous. Orchard fruit, mint white flowers, sage, almond, dried flowers and light tropical accents give this creamy, mid-weight white tons of pure charm. The 2019 is airy and gracious, with lovely texture and pretty tropical accents to round it all off.
