Tasting notes
The 2020 Lions de Batailley has quite a perfumed, floral, menthol-tinged bouquet, strangely quite Right Bank in style. Fine purity. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm, finely chiseled tannins, graphite tinged black fruit with a touch of dark chocolate in the background on the finish. This is a stylish, satisfying Deuxième Vin to enjoy over the next decade.

The 2020 Lions de Batailley has a tightly wound bouquet with blackberry, cedar and light cigar box aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with graphite tinged black fruit on the entry, fine weight, quite sweet towards the finish whilst retaining Pauillac-like structure. This is a thoroughly decent Deuxième Vin .
