Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2013

Fairly pale medium red. Aromas of red berries, tobacco and caramel oak are lifted by a sexy floral nuance and a hint of juniper. At once supple and precise, conveying terrific mid-palate energy. Less rich than the Corton and drier too, but this comparatively backward wine conveys an exhilarating light touch. Finishes very long and subtle, with a broad dusting of fine tannins.
