The 2021 Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas is far more vivacious on the nose than the Pauillac de Lynch-Moussas: blackberry and raspberry mixed with a touch of mint and pencil lead. The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced with fine tannins. It’s a little austere in style but in a positive way, with attractive freshness and classicism on the finish. Given the price, this is well worth seeking out.

Bright plum in colour, this is fairly high acidity that tugs underneath the sweet red fruits. Soft tannins, easy to enjoy, supple and unfussy, a little soft through the finish.
