Tasting notes
Now some richness overlays the acidity. This has evolved really very well. Grapefruit juice and rigour. (JR)

Aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, oyster shell and fresh pastry introduce the 2016 Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc Cuvée Marine, a medium-bodied, chiseled and tangy wine with less flesh on its bones than the 2017 rendition.
Anne Gros is quietly meticulous and almost obsessive about cleanliness in her cellar. Really appetising acidity and juiciness. Not skinny. Tastes like a cross between St Aubin and Rully! (JR)
Tank sample. Named after Anne Gros’ youngest daughter, who is studying at Chambéry, and marine soils. Quite rich nose. Concentrated and chewy and with lots of nerve. Lip-smacking. (JR)
