One of the finest communal bottlings along the Côte, Bize's 2019 Bourgogne Les Perrières Blanc wafts from the glass with notes of corps orchard fruit, citrus oil, dried white flowers, fresh bread and a touch of youthful reduction. Medium-bodied, chiseled and incisive, it's concentrated and mineral, concluding with a long, chalky finish.

The 2019 Bourgogne Blanc Les Perrières, which Chisa Bize recently discovered contains a few Pinot Blanc vines, has a crisp, nicely delineated bouquet displaying more nerve than the Champlains. The palate is well balanced with a sour lemon note on the entry, good intensity and a touch of lemon curd on the finish. Excellent.
