Tasting notes
The 2022 Meursault Village is ample and generous, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, clear honey, green apple and bread dough. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a rich core of fruit girdled by lively acids, it concludes with a saline finish.

Riper aroma than the Bourgogne Côte d’Or, more stone fruit than citrus. Creamy texture helps to balance the very high acidity. Intense, long, maybe not quite yet in harmony and needs a little more flesh in the middle. (JH)
The 2022 Meursault Village comes from a single parcel just below Chevalier. The generous bouquet offers patisserie, subtle melon and Clementine aromas, very intense yet well-defined. The palate is well-balanced, with a tang of marmalade on the entry and very good weight with a touch of walnut and hazelnut on the finish. Excellent. (NM)
