Tasting notes
Fresh cashew mingles with lemon sherbet on the subtle nose of the 2013, a wine with lift and energy. The palate is lively and long, with the finish offering honey, herbal notes and sweet hay.

The 2013 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Fonte Canale displays a deep golden color. It opens with a mature bouquet of crushed hazelnuts, dried flowers, sage and dusty stone. It's soothingly round and sweet upon entry. Tactile mineral tones and sour citrus underscore ripe apples and pears. This finishes with medium length and a flinty sensation, leaving a hint of iodine and lemon rind that adds tension. The 2013 is firmly in its drinking window.
About the producer

Tiberio is one of Italy’s most exciting names. Cristiana Tiberio is at the helm of this Abruzzo estate today, which was founded by her father Riccardo. Known in particular for its old-vine Trebbiano Abruzzese, Tiberio now sits alongside Valentini and Emidio Pepe as a leading light of the region.
