Tasting notes

Tasting notes
Score 84/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 1993

The 1991 Gevrey-Chambertin is light but spicy, with meaty red fruit scents in the bouquet, and a short finish. Denis Mortet continues to improve. Save for the grand crus, his 1991s are wonderfully elegant, supple, tasty wines with good clarity and balance. Importer: Martine's Wines, San Rafael, CA.
