Tasting notes
The 2022 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet citrus oil, Anjou pear, white flowers and nutty reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's pure and racy, with a bright spine of acidity, chalky structure and a long, penetrating finish. It's another terrific performance from this virused parcel that always produces small bunches.

The 2022 Saint-Aubin Les Murgers des Dents de Chien 1er Cru comes from the last parcel before Puligny Folatières. It has distinctive fruits de mer on the nose—you can nearly smell those freshly shucked oysters and cockles with a squeeze of fresh lemon! The palate is very well balanced, with a little more weight on the front end that is balanced by the silver thread of acidity. Tensile and quite spicy on the finish, this is a level up from the 2021.
