Score 93/100 · Drink 2024-2042, Neal Martin, Sep 2022

The 2019 Chablis Clos Béru, which undergoes an additional year in barrel ( demi-muids ), is a three-hectare monopole belonging to the domaine, the mother rock close to the surface. It has a very complex bouquet with apricot blossom, clementine, hints of peach and crushed stone. The palate is well balanced with fine tension on the entry, a superb bead of acidity, lightly spiced with touches of ginger towards the finish. Lots of energy here - you can feel the terroir expressed on the finish. Excellent.
