2020 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County

The 2020 Chardonnay (Sta. Rita Hills) is stellar. The aromatics alone are compelling. White orchard fruit, mint, white pepper and mint add a striking upper register. All the elements come together effortlessly. There's real personality and class here. Then again, that's not entirely surprising given than 70-80% of this fruit is emerges from Sandhi-designated blocks at Domaine de la Cote.
