High-toned fruit and distinct warm earth, game, herbal and smoke notes gives way to equally powerful, deep and backward full-bodied flavors that possess plenty of muscle and finish with buckets of sève that completely coat and stain the palate. There is notably good freshness and first rate persistence plus excellent balance that will permit this to age effortlessly, which it will need as it's presently a bit more restrained than the Clos St. Denis.
